Il Servizio Civile Internazionale esprime la più sentita vicinanza alle persone colpite dal terremoto del 24 agosto.
In questi frangenti, quando a prevalere sono disperazione e distruzione, le parole possono risultare spesso ingombranti e fuori luogo. Per questa ragione guardiamo già alle azioni di solidarietà volontaria messe in atto e a quelle che saranno intraprese in futuro. Ad esse ci affianchiamo e ci affiancheremo, rispondendo alle richieste delle comunità dei luoghi colpiti con le competenze a nostra disposizione. Con la consapevolezza di quanto accaduto sette anni fa a L’Aquila e nelle aree limitrofe nel post-terremoto, affinché non si ripeta mai più.

Servizio Civile Internazionale expresses its most heartfelt closeness to those affected by the earthquake that took place on 24th of August in Central Italy.
In these situations, when despair and destruction prevail, words can often be cumbersome and out of place. For this reason we look at the voluntary solidarity actions already implemented and those to be undertaken in the future. We back up them and we will continue to do it, responding to the demands of the communities living in the places affected with our approach and capabilities. With the knowledge of what happened seven years ago in L’Aquila and the surrounding areas in the post-earthquake, so that it never happens again.
